Bringing a background of varied careers: in drafting and design as a Kitchen & Bath designer, Facility Manager of 23 properties for a multinational employer, a private Marina owner/manager and owner/operator of a Certified Hypnotherapy & Counselling Clinic, gives her many tools and varied knowledge to help her clients succeed in their goals. Being raised on a grain and cattle farm in southern Saskatchewan, on the family homestead, Lynnell learned the value of work, giving her a SISU work ethic. (The short meaning of SISU – a Finnish concept/characteristic described as stoic determination, tenacity of purpose, grit, bravery, resilience and hardiness.) Her grandparents immigrated to Canada from Finland in 1908 and grew the family grain and cattle farm from a ¼ section to 6 sections through hard work and determination… a perfect role model for all family members. Since becoming a Realtor in 2010 Lynnell has achieved award status many times within her Real Estate Board and with in her membership in RE/MAX. Lynnell moved to Vancouver Island in 1975 living and raising 3 children in Nanaimo before she moved to Victoria for 20 years. Now back in Nanaimo/Ladysmith, she has a wide knowledge of the Island markets. This enables her to advise her clients in a wide range of properties. A long-term believer of giving back to your community Lynnell volunteers on many levels. Past leader and trainer in Scouts Canada, long time PAC member and secretary. Past member of the Volunteer Marine Rescue Association, Fundraising Director and Fundraising Chairperson for The Rotary Club of Victoria, Fundraising member for Children’s Hospital, team leader for cooking at The Rainbow Kitchen in Esquimalt.
