I’m so proud to be a part of the extremely generous and supportive RE/MAX family. One of my favorite parts of our conferences is always the fundraising, especially when accompanied with a few tears after a few words from surviving champion kids.
Last month in Whistler at our national RE/MAX Conference we raised $118,000 for Children’s Hospital at our auction, surpassing previous record set in 2012 by $33,000! This is a generous group that deeps deep to give.
Part of that was from my friend and colleague Bruce Johnson’s cross Canada epic motorcycle ride this summer which our team sponsored and I had the pleasure of joining Bruce for the final leg riding under sunny skies down the island from Comox Valley to Mile Zero in Victoria.
In 2015 RE/MAX Agents raised over $4 Million Dollars to help sick kids get better. As a 10 year governor for BC Children’s Hospital I’ve seen first hand and appreciate the difference each of those dollars makes.
