The Spirit of Giving

At this time of year many people consider not only how they can give to their loved ones but also how they can improve the lives of others. When considering how to give it can become overwhelming as we develop an awareness of all the areas of other’s needs.

Ron Neal has personal interest in giving back to his community by giving to BC Children’s Hospital (BCCH). Ron’s sister lost a newborn son with heart trouble who was cared for at the Hospital, and he’s seen first hand how BCCH helps BC’s sickest kids. Ron’s nephew also received intensive medical care from BCCH while in a lengthy coma as a teenager following a bicycle accident. Although he was wearing a helmet at the time the injuries he sustained required the kind of care only BC Children’s Hospital can provide. That young man is now in his fourth year of a plumbing apprenticeship program, living a full and successful life thanks to BCCH and its supporters.

As a volunteer for more than 20 years for BCCH Ron knows the hospital intimately and the difference it makes in helping our kids. Ron now serves as an advisor on the BCCH Board of Governors and participated in raising the over $200 Million needed to fund our new children’s hospital which is under construction now.

Ron Neal and each member of The Neal Estate Team of RE/MAX Alliance Victoria are proud supporters of the Children’s Miracle Network donating a portion of their personal earnings from every sale to BC Children's Hospital. In fact only those sharing this spirit of giving and committed to a vision of giving back to our community in this way are invited onto The Neal Estate Team.

As a MIRACLE OFFICE, Realtors at The Neal Estate Team of RE/MAX Alliance have donated more than $100,000 to BC Children's Hospital since 2005. Additionally each year hundreds of children and families join us, the Easter Bunny and Sunny Bear for our Annual Easter Egg Hunt supporting BC Children's Hospital. We give away more than 30,000 chocolates each year, have a great time resulting in hundreds of happy, smiling faces and raise thousands of dollars every year to help make sick kids better.
