Vancouver Island is a beautiful part of Canada. It has many things to offer visitors and residents, including nature trails, beaches, mountains and parks. The island also offers a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, camping, kayaking, fishing and world class scuba diving.

Exercise Regularly.

If you want to live longer, exercise regularly. It has been proven that people who exercise regularly tend to live longer than those who do not.
It can be difficult to stay motivate to execise and as such it is easy to fall off the excercise wagon. On Vancouver Island there are many activities you can engage in. But one of the most interesting and fun in my opinion is Scuba Diving on the island. You will get the excersise you need along with plenty of motivation to continue to excercise, not to mention that scuba diving is great for relieving stress and giving you a different perspective on life. Sleep Well.

1) Get enough sleep. This is one of the easiest ways to improve your life expectancy. People who sleep less than six hours per night are more likely to die early.
2) Eat healthy. Eating well-balanced meals every day helps keep your body functioning at its peak.
3) Exercise regularly. A regular workout routine improves your mood and reduces stress levels.
4) Don’t smoke. Smoking is bad for your lungs and other organs.

Reduce Stress.

Eat More Vegetables.

Eating more vegetables is one of the easiest ways to improve your health. They are low in calories and high in fiber, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Vancouver Island is lush with farmland epecially in the Cowichan Valley, where you can get an abundance and varety of the freshest vegetables, along with fruit, dairy, poultry, meat and even honey.
